2 cups / 2 medium Bananas, very ripe, mashed
1 egg
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/3 cup canola oil or coconut oil
1 1/3 cup almond flour
1 3/4 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup raisins

Soft Baked Banana Oat Bars

These soft baked homemade oat bars are absolutely delicious! They’re so easy to make, refined sugar free, and nutritious. A great alternative to packaged and processed oat bars!

These bars are SO good! They’re yummy with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of milk.

What makes these bars so special?

The almond flour. (I made these with almond meal as well and they taste great).

Almond flour is high in protein, vitamin E and monounsaturated fats. Not to mention their sweet buttery taste. Making these bars a nutrient dense baked goodie!


  • You can substitute raisins for chocolate chips or nuts, the mix ins are endless, so you can get creative here.
  • Do not bake for longer than 20 minutes in the oven or they will dry out.
  • You can refrigerate for up to 1 week or leave in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days.

Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray and line a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.


In a large bowl mix together mashed banana, egg, maple syrup, vanilla extract and oil.


In a separate bowl add almond flour, oats cinnamon and salt.


Blend the oats mixture into the wet mixture until well combined. Fold in raisins.


Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
Let cool slightly before slicing into bars. Once completely cooled store in an airtight container.
